Me with Wimpo and BlackieToo
Hello! My name is Kathy and I'd like to welcome you to my little corner of the world.  I hope you enjoy your visit. Please be sure to sign my guestbook and guestmap so I'll know you've been here.

First, a great BIG thank you to the best cyber friend in the world, TRACY. Without the help of Tracy this site would not be here. She worked really hard to get it off the ground and maintained the site until she went back to work full time (poor baby *S*). I truly appreciate all of her hard work, but especially her friendship. Love ya Tracy!

Second, thanks to a wonderful friend, DeDe, who now maintains my site for me. What you see on these pages is her handiwork! I appreciate your friendship DeDe and appreciate you maintaining my site due to my limited computer time. You do a beautiful job!

OK, now about me! I was born and raised in the same City where I now live. I retired from City government work on January 11, 2001 after 36 years and 3 months. I am totally enjoying being retired.  I can go where I want to go, when I want to go ... or I can choose to stay home and do whatever it is that I want.

I collect angels, rabbits, catholic religious items (rosaries, statues of Mary and the Virgen de Guadalupe, crucifixes, etc.), dolls, and teddy bears.

I had the honor of being part of the Tucson Diocesan Choir from 1995-2005.  I was also a cantor at my parish before I decided to take a little R&R. Now when I sing, I travel across town to another parish in order to sing with my favorite pianist, Mike. I play keyboards and piano and sing country and gospel.  I am currently taking guitar lessons. I'm at the point now where we're taking 1-2 months off from the lesson book and I'm playing what I want to play. Actually, it's kind of hard picking out songs that are in my voice range as my teacher, Robert, says I not only play....I sing! I'm playing notes as well as chords/singing. I'm really having a blast. Robert says I'm good enough to join a church choir as an accompanist but I don't think I'm ready yet. I have too many chords left to learn!

I am also very involved with ChemoAngels. I am on administrative staff as well as being a Chemo/Senior Angel, Special Assignment Angel, Month End Monitor, and the Senior Angel Application Processor.

The first group I joined was Heaven's Angels and I'm proud to say I've been with them almost 5 years now. I'm the Head Angel of the Acceptance Cloud and I'm lovin' every minute of it. This is a great group to belong to!

My first love is gospel music but I'm really addicted to country ... especially Patsy Cline, George Strait, Tracy Byrd, Mark Chesnutt, Michael Peterson, Reba McEntire, JoDee Messina, Martina McBride, and Trisha Yearwood.

This site is dedicated to:
My mother, June, who went Home to be with our Lord on April 9, 1991;
My Grandma, Margaret, who was also called Home on April 1, 1974; and
My mother-in-law, Julia, who went Home on May 20, 2003.
We love you and miss you every day!
